What is Protect any EXE?
Protect any EXE is an application related to the software Exe Password. Developed by Salfeld Computer, the software basically enables the user to protect all of their executable files by assigning a password to each one of them.This helps the user maintain security of the system, as well as, protect their executable files from unauthorized access. The software is generally utilized by users sharing one computer with a number of other users. Each user has the option to protect their personal executables files. To launch the program, the user needs to right-click on a specific executable file from its directory path, upon which a display box will appear. From the display box, the user is provided with the option, “Password Protection.” From this option, a small window will once again appear, this time, to enable the user to specify the executable file to be protected. The user will need to provide the default directory of the file on the box provided. If the user does not know the default path of the executable, a search button is provided. When the executable file has been specified, user will need only to type in a new password, and then re-type the same to validate it.
