Definition - What does Current/noncurrent method mean
An accounting technique where all current assets and liabilities of a foreign subsidiary are converted to domestic currency using the current exchange rate, whereas all noncurrent, or long-term, assets and liabilities are converted at the exchange rate in effect when the asset was obtained or when the liability was incurred (historical rates).
