What is Bookworm Adventures Deluxe?

Bookworm Adventures Deluxe is the latest installment to the Bookworm series. This is a word game that requires the player to spell out words from the letters provided on the screen. The game takes the player to a different playing field, where Lex the Bookworm, must face enemies, battling it out with them while spelling words.Lex is given ammunition to defeat the enemies, in the form of potions, attack modes, and weapons from mythical gods. If Lex gets stunned, attacked or stricken down by the enemy, he may lose a turn. Enemies come in the form of creatures such as basilisks, boars, and demi-gods. The game takes in the form of a storybook, where Lex has to travel to various places in order to defeat the enemies. Mini games are also included. For every successfully completed level, Lex is given more attack power. When enough points have been accumulated, the player is rewarded with a treasure, which can be selected from the Treasure Room. The objective of the game is to save Lex’ kidnapped friend, Cassandra.
